TBH each way works just as well. To me the vertical ones tie in with the stripe paper. The horizontal ones tie in with the horizontal title. So I guess flip a coin. not much help really hey.

Love BOTH of the school layouts of the boys!! I can't believe i spy an A4 sized page from you!! How clever to make them look like a blackboard! Those little boys certainly have grown up into men now! Makes you appreciate how time flies!

Those photos of Ellie are just too cute and LOVE That made with love stamp! I have been on the computer this morning trying to find a suitable title for a layout I'm about to start.. and your "My Happy Thought" title is perfect! (might have to borrow it! :)
and that blackboard background on the second one is just too cool.
and I am sure with your boys 1+1+1 did equal 3 angels...but was that equation right 100% of the time??
